Hello, I want to make this tomorrow. I was wondering if I could use Velveeta instead of Cheddar Cheese Soup?

You can definitely sub out either one of those for the cream of celery, Brandy. We do that all the time depending on what’s in the pantry :) But I don’t think the cream of celery has a strong taste at all.

And YAY, Kristen!! You go girl!

I am interested in making this later this week, but I have a question. Does the cream of celery soup have a strong celery taste in the finished product? I am NOT a fan of celery so that would turn me towards putting in something different. What else might work? cream of brocolli or cream of mushroom?

    Thansk for the help!

Anything that my extremely picky 3 y.o. will eat AND finish is a keeper!! AND it’s so cheap to make. My husband thought it was really good as well. This was a simple and super easy recipe that happened to also be delicious. We served it over mashed potatoes. THANKS!!

This was good and my boys liked it very much. I substituted breasts for thighs since they seem to you be more tender. Will cook this again.
