It wasn’t bad, but was much better with ketchup, I made in my oval cooker I think it made it nice and thin, not too bad. I also wondered why cook the beef then cook it again in the cooker, but did as instructed since I had the time, it actually added more of a crunch to the beef because it was very well done, so I really don’t think it is necessary, if you are short on time just cook your beef real good then proceed to adding the crust and just continue from there.

Ok I’m confused on this one, so do u cook the hamburger meat before putting it in the crock pot for 3 hrs, or do u cook it and then also let it cook in crock lot for 3 hrs

Husband & I both liked it. I was surprised that it didn’t taste overwhelmingly ground beefy because of so few ingredients. Easy to make, had good flavor. Husband wanted to spice it up, so he did on his own. None of my 4 kids (b/w 4-8 y.o.) liked it which isn’t surprising, but hey, we tried! I will make it again on a nice cold day, if one ever arrives in SoCal. I think the kids will eventually come around. Good dish.
