Shrimp Jambalaya – Great recipe for shrimp jambalaya
We love this with any summer meal.
This is a sweet chili. My awesome sister in-law gave me this recipe from her church cookbook. You can eat as a dip with fritos scoops or as chili with bread or crackers
- 1 Pound Ground beef
- 1 Onion
- 2 Cans Stewed tomatoes
- 1 Can Brooks's chili beans (we use mild)
- 3 Tablespoons BBQ sauce (sweet baby rays honeybbq or famous Dave's sweet n zesty)
- 1/2 Garlic salt (a shake)
- 1/2 Cup Mild banana peppers, chopped with juice
- Paprika (a shake)
Brown ground beef with chopped onion. Drain and add to the crockpot.
Add stewed tomatoes and chili beans (if you don't like chunks purÃ©e both tomatoes and beans in the blender before adding to the crockpot). Also a good way to hide the beans from my kids. :).
Add remaining ingredients and stir
Cook in crockpot on low for 4 hours. Serve with shredded cheese and eat with scoops
