Is summer already coming to an end? Labor Day weekend marks the closing of summer, but to help soften the blow we are crockin' up some yummy dishes for you! A Hickory Smoked Brisket (featured in The Crockin' Girls Slow Cookin' Companion) and Nicole's delicious Cabbage & Tomatoes to pair with it! Get ready for some good eatin' y'all!
- 1 Head of Cabbage, cut into chunks
- 1 Medium onion, diced
- 2 (14.5 ounce) Cans Diced Tomatoes
- salt and pepper, to taste
After cutting cabbage into chunks place in the crock.
Cover with the remaining ingredients & cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4-6 hours.
If making the full recipe crock in a 6 or 7 quart slow cooker. If cutting the recipe in half crock in a 4-5 quart slow cooker.
