I have made this three times now and it is my favorite. The first time I made it with only two chicken breast frozen, 1/2 bottleTexas Pete wing sauce and 1/2 bottle ranch dressing. Left off the butter to save calories and fat. I was using what I had in the freezer didn’t want to go to the store during the tropical storm Debby weekend. When it was done I let my son 22 sample, he came back for more. He said is that all you made? Ha! I said if you will go to the store I will make more. That afternoon I cooked 6 more chicken breast and was great the next night for dinner. At his request cooked rice and mixed some of the chicken with sauce in the rice. He loved it and took for lunch. I also put the chicken mixture in corn tortillas. This is very good. I did buy the ranch powder but I like the dressing the best. Not as salty and more creamy sauce. This is my favorite crockpot dish so far.

We’ve tried this 2 or 3 times now…I’ve tried it with and without the Ranch mix and with and without the butter/margarine. It turned out well, but very salty. We usually like salty, but this was a little salty for our taste. I’m wondering how we can cut the salty taste somehow, it was great otherwise.

If you use frozen chicken breast, add an hour to the cook time.

    Are the chicken breasts frozen?

I used this recipe and put it in wraps after it was finished. Big hit with our family! Oh I also added blue cheese crumbles to the wraps and toasted the wraps with the meat inside to make it crunchy. It was very good!
