A slightly spicy alternative to stuffed peppers. I combined a few ideas from other recipes and added a few of my own.
We’re crazy for these diner-style sandwiches, which get an extra punch of crunch from toasted buns and onion rings.
Used 6-quart slow cooker
Broccoli Casserole – such an easy side in the slow cooker
- 10 oz. Package Frozen chopped broccoli
- 6 Eggs, beaten
- 1 (24 oz) Carton of cottage cheese
- 6 Tablespoons Flour
- 8 Ounces Mild cheese
- 1/4 Cup Butter, melted
- 2 Green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Combine ingredients in bowl and mix until well blended.
Stir in broccoli, pour into greased slow cooker.
Cover. Cook on high 1 hour.
Stir well then resume cooking on low 2-4 hours.
