Used 6-quart slow cooker
Ingredients
- 1 Pound Dry Black Eyed Peas
- 1 1/2 - 2 Cups Fully Cooked Chopped Ham
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions

Step One
Sort through black eyed peas and get any dirt out.

Step Two
For quick soak pour peas into boiling water and boil for 2 minutes.

Step Three
Remove from heat and let sit for 1 hour.

Step Four
After the hour discard water and pour peas into the slow cooker.

Step Five
Add your ham and salt and pepper to taste.

Step Six
Pour enough water over peas to cover.

Step Seven
Cook for 6-8 hours on LOW.
