Easy Chicken and Dumplings

Easy Chicken and Dumplings – A deliciously simple recipe for chicken and dumplings

Cook Time 8 hrs
Temp Low

You can serve this as a slow cooking chicken recipe as a dip or as taco filling!

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen chicken breasts
  • 1 Can black beans, drained
  • 1 Can corn, drained
  • 1 (24 oz) Jar Salsa (Pick your heat preference!)
  • 8 Ounces cream cheese

Directions

  1. Step One

    
Put all ingredients in the slow cooker, except for the cream

  2. Step Two

    Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours.

  3. Step Three

    About 30 minutes before you are ready to eat, stir to break up chicken and add in the block of cream cheese.

  4. Step Four

    Cook long enough for the cream cheese to be melted and mixed in.

  5. Step Five

    Serve over 3 cups rice, if desired.

    This is one of my fav recipes!!! It is so easy and amazing. I do forget the cream cheese sometimes but its still really good. we use the corn and black bean salsa!

    Awesome I used a 16oz jar of Peach Salsa and it still had plenty of sause. So good everyone loved it but next time I am going to add a teaspoon of taco season as it needed a little more flavor

    I just fixed this Yesterday and It is so Good !! I think I will add 2 cans of corn and 2 cans of beans in stead of 1 . Defiantly recommend for Taco Night !
