I cut the potatoes and carrots into huge chunks and let them cook all day on low with the rest of the ingredients. It turned out great. Definitely a keeper, so easy and delicious.

My whole family loved this recipe! It was so easy. I didn’t dice my potatoes & carrots so they weren’t done all the way, but that was my fault for not following the directions. I will definitely try this with egg noodles next time.

This was a great dinner! I was able to find a day when I would be home 2 hours before we ate to add the potatoes and carrots while also starting our rice cooker so that everything was ready to serve when my husband and I got home!

You can also make this with a pork tenderloin and it tastes just as great!
(You have to cut the meat up and brown just like the beef.)

It will say most likely, beef stew tips or sirloin tips, just depends on your grocery store. The amount doesn’t have to be exactly 3 pounds, just something close to that!

I haven’t made this yet. I have a question about beef tips. Is that what the meat packaging will say on it?

This tasted just like my mom’s. I skipped the potatoes because I served it over egg noodles. I also added frozen peas the last hour. I browned my meat in a bit of olive oil. Absolutely delicious. The perfect meal as we continue to get rain from Tropical Storm Debbie here in FL>
