Beef Stew Variation
Beef Stew Variation – A great beef stew for any cold day
- 2 Pounds Stew Meat
- 2 Cans Beef Broth
- 2-3 Cans Tomato Juice
Put in whatever vegetables you like - we put in 2 cans green beans, 2 cans corn, 2 cans peas, several carrots (cut), half of a large onion (cut), potatoes (diced), and sometimes diced tomatoes
Whatever spices you like - we put in paprika, oregano, basil, 3-4 bay leaves, seasoning salt, parsley, 2-3 garlic cloves (minced), and black pepper
Put everything in together (carrots and meat on bottom - if you brown the meat before putting it in, it doesn't take as long to cook, and you don't run into problems later) and cook on medium for 4-6 hours, or until carrots and potatoes are soft.
Add another can of tomato juice or beef broth if the liquid level is too low!
