An easy banana dessert that doesn't take all day and smells delicious...

Ingredients

  • 6 Whole Peeled Bananas
  • 1/2 Cup Flaked Coconut
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Dark or Light Corn Syrup (dark is tastier, but if you don't have any you can use light)
  • 1/4 Cup Melted Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Grated Lemon Peel
  • 3 to 4 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice (juice of 1 medium lemon)

Directions

  1. Step One

    Arrange peeled bananas in the bottom of crockpot.

  2. Step Two

    Sprinkle with coconut, cinnamon, and the salt.

  3. Step Three

    Combine dark corn syrup, butter, lemon peel and juice and pour over bananas and coconut.

  4. Step Four

    Cook on Low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

  5. Step Five

    Serve over ice cream, pancakes or whatever you like!
