Ingredients

  • 1 Package 4 boneless lean pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 3-4 slices uncooked bacon
  • 2 Teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic powder or salt

Directions

  1. Step One

    Place pork chops in the crock pot.

  2. Step Two

    Arrange bacon slices on top of pork chops.

  3. Step Three

    Sprinkle with cajun seasoning and garlic.

  4. Step Four

    Cover. Cook 4-5 hours. Done!

    made this once, and the hubby keeps asking when i was going to make it again… its now cooking in the pot! sooo yummy!!! i used real bacon bits instead of sliced bacon.. just sprinkled over the top.. worked out very well, also added a touch of chilli powder :) this will be a standard weekly dish for us!

    I made this for dinner, who doesnt love bacon!! I thought to myself this recipe needs a liquid but I didnt improvise because i figured whoever made this knew what they were doing. I didnt want to waste bacon so I used a whole small pkg (12 strips). The pork was so tender and flavorful with just the seasoning, garlic and bacon. The bacon was little soft and rubbery Im guessing its because it was cooked via the slow cooker. It was still very good and I think with some sprucing anyone can do alot with this, its very open to creativeness!!
