By request, here's my Porcupine Meatballs recipe for the slow cooker. Kids love them, but they also make a great sandwich or appetizer.
A great contrast of sweet & tangy! Wonderful on sandwiches, with mashed potatoes, in tacos, or --after it's chilled--on salad!
Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken – A tasty recipe for the slow cooker
Applescotch Crisp – Tasty, slow cooked, dessert
- 4 Cups Cooking Apples, peeled and sliced
- 2/3 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 1/2 Cup Quick Cooking Oats
- 3.5 oz Package Cook-n-Serve Butterscotch Pudding Mix
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 Cup Cold Butter
Place apples in slow cooker.
Combine remaining ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle over apples.
Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours.
