All American Apple Dumplings
Tapioca – homemade tapioca in the slow cooker
There's no monkeying around when it comes to this seriously easy and delicious Monkey Bread, ready in just 2 hours it is perfect for a quick and fun breakfast!
This is great as a dessert with vanilla ice-cream or even with your coffee in the morning!
An all-american dessert, these apple dumplings are fun for the whole family to make!
- 2 Packages crescent rolls
- 2-3 apples, peeled and diced (I used whatever apples I had on hand)
- 2/3 Cups sugar
- 1/3 Cup brown sugar
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1/2 Cup orange juice (I use Sunny D)
- cinnamon sugar for topping
Spray slow cooker with non stick cooking spray. Roll out crescent rolls into individual triangles.
Place a heaping amount of apples on the crescent roll and roll up, place in the slow cooker. Repeat until all crescent rolls are used.
In a small saucepan combine both sugars, butter and orange juice. Stir until melted and sugar is dissolved. Pour over the crescent rolls. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top of dumplings.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours.
