Apple Cobbler – Easy hassle free apple cobbler

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups peeled, sliced tart apples
  • 2 Cups granola cereal
  • 1 Teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cups honey
  • 2 Tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. Step One

    Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Step Two

    Combine apples, cereal and cinnamon in slow cooker and mix well.

  3. Step Three

    Stir together honey and butter and drizzle over apple mixture. Mix gently.

  4. Step Four

    Cover slow cooker and cook on low 3-4 hours or until apples are tender.

  5. Step Five

    Serve this slow cooked cobbler with fruit yogurt, if desired.

    I have made the Apple Crisp (amazing!) from the cookbook a million times so I was looking for something a little different. This turned out awesome! I used Quaker granola cereal w/ raisins. I cut up 4 regular size apples into chunks. Also, I sprinkled on brown sugar on top. Mine was ready in 3 hours. Perfect! We served with whipped topping! Mmmm!
