Amish Pot Roast
Ingredients
- 3-4 Pounds Beef roast (sirloin tip, rump)
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1/4 Cup Soy sauce
- 1 Cup Coffee
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 Garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
- 2 Onions, sliced
Directions

Step One
Sear roast in 1 tablespoon oil on all sides.

Step Two
Put half of onions on bottom of slow cooker, the other half in sauce.

Step Three
Pour sauce over meat.

Step Four
Cook on low until roast is falling apart tender (about 8 hrs).

Step Five
You can add potatoes and carrots an hour or so before done if desired.
