Lazy Chicken and Dumplings – Easy to make in the slow cooker
A light and easy alfredo sauce that you can pour over fettucini noodles, easily add chicken (just increase your crockin' time), or use as a yummy dip!
- 1 Cup nonfat milk
- 8 Ounces Neufchatel cheese, cubed
- 1/4 Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon onion salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 Cup grated Parmesan cheese
Combine milk, cubed Neufchatel cheese, garlic powder, onion salt, and minced garlic. Stir until smooth.
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and crock until everything is blended, melted, and heated through. That may be only an hour for some crocks!
If you want to add chicken to your sauce you can use canned chicken, or add uncooked chicken tenders (my preference) and crock on LOW for about 4-5 hours.
