Strawberry Shortcake:
Ingredients:
Angel food cake, cut into thin slices
1 container of your choice of whipped topping
3 cartons of strawberries, diced
1 cup sugar
1/2 carton of Blueberries
Directions:
Cut cake in 1/2 inch slices and use a star cookie cutter to make star cakes. You
can serve 2 different ways. 1) you can serve all together in a large glass bowl or
2) you can serve individually in separate little bowls. We chose to serve in a large
glass bowl for entertaining purposes.
In a large glass bowl, you will need to layer with cool whip, then a layer of stars,
layer of cut strawberries, and then blueberries. Continue the layers until all
ingredients are used. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Must stay cold.
Happy 4th Party Dish:

Rinse blueberries and place into the small square dish. Star layers (stripes) on
larger rectangular dish or platter with watermelon then cheese, watermelon then
cheese. Keep alternating layers or stripes until it looks like the American flag.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Kristi
I’d like to make this for the 4th, but I don’t know how many it serves. Also, it looks like about 4 ears of corn on the cob halved. Is that about right? Judging from that, it might serve 8 people? Help, please so I can get to the grocery store. Thanks.
