Small-town girls, best friends, and business partners Jenna Marwitz and Nicole Sparks are well-known to their many slow-cooking aficionados as the Crockin’ Girls.

What started as a fun and fast way to post and share recipes with their family and friends quickly went viral, burgeoning into a highly trafficked website and widely “Liked” Facebook page. Their tagline, “Slow Cookin’ Mamas in a Fast-Paced World,” perfectly encapsulates their philosophy of helping busy folks spend less time in the kitchen and more time with their loved ones.

The Crockin’ Girls’ first cookbook—which will be brimming with recipes for nutritious, delicious, and easy-to make meals—is due out this spring.

Also an avid crafter (besides Crockin’, sewing is her favorite pastime!), Jenna and husband Stanton, who works as a coach, are the proud parents of two young children. In addition to her Crockin’ Girls duties, Nicole owns a local dance studio, where she works full-time as an instructor. She also is wife to Kris, who owns an insurance agency, and mommy to two precious kiddos. Both Jenna and Nicole live in Brownwood, Texas.
