It would be wonderful if we could find some low calorie slow cooker meals. I have always used this site and has been saved many times by using my slow cooker, but now my husband and I are on a low calorie diet, and I am now struggling on what to fix for dinner. Does anyone have any good recipes that I could use?

We try to stick to the “healthier” recipes, but that’s a matter of opinion. We’ve had success with the Brown Sugar Chicken, Chicken Soft Tacos, Balsamic Chicken and Salsa Chicken. Slow cooker meals are not typically the healthiest, but it can be done. Good luck!

Hey, y’all! We actually have an entire section of light recipes, aptly called “Crockin’ Light!” You can also lower the fat and calorie content of any recipe by using light and healthier versions (healthy requests soups, light cream cheese, etc.) and cutting back on cheese or omitting in completely. Thanks for crockin’ with us :) http://crockingirls.com/recipes-category/crockin-light/

Also, we found this website that seems to be really easy and useful when determining the calories in recipes. http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php

I love the triple C recipe! Chicken can get kinda “blah” when you’re trying to eat healthy. But the cranberries in this dish give it a really sweet flavor.
