I need to cook 100 plus hot dogs for an outing. Any suggestions on how to cook them in the crock pot?

Stand them upright in the slow cooker. Put a little water in the bottom and cook until they’re hot. Keep them on warm until you serve. Hope this helps!

Any idea how long it would take?

It will depend on how hot your cooker gets. Probably 1-2 hours depending on how many you cram into the pot. The ones against the sides will be done first (and they’ll probably brown). You really don’t need much water at all. I’ve seen other recipes online that say not to add water.

You can cook them beforehand and keep them warm in the crock.

I’ve used a can or two of beer instead of water. It gives them a great ball park flavor.
