Frozen Roast!

Help! I forgot to thaw my roast today and I was planning on putting a roast on in the morning. Can I put a frozen rump roast in my crock pot and it be ready in time for dinner?

You probably can and just increase the cooking time. But I would just thaw it overnight

I use a frozen roast all the time and have never had any problems having it ready on time.

I would just put it in the fridge overnight and use my “hottest” crock to make it in the next morning if you have more than one crock. My slow cookers definitely don’t cook the same, so I’ll use my hot one when I need something to cook a little faster/hotter than normal. Those “hot” crocks can come in handy sometimes ;) Happy Crockin’, Y’all!
