I found a recipe for mushroom and wild rice soup that I really like but it takes too long to cook it on the stove to have it very often. If I want to cook it in the slow cooker what do I have to do different? Would I need to add more liquid and if so how do I figure how much more? And if the wild rice normally takes 45 minutes on the stove how long (and on what setting) would I have to cook it in the slow cooker?

I take that back. It says to cook it for 45 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients and cook an additional 30 minutes. But the rice goes in at the beginning. Anyone?
