Please include nutritional information in the next cookbook – I have a daughter with Type 1 diabetes and that would be so awesome to have the carb information right along with the recipe!!!

Hi! I too am anxious for your new cookbook and agree that you should include nutritional information. I also have type 1 diabetes so rely on the carb. info.. This, along with the other basics such as number of servings, calories, fat and protein would be so helpful for many of us. In addition could you be more specific with the sizes of items you use? To say “1 package” or “1 can” of an ingredient is too vague. Also, please tell us the size of the slow cooker to be used for each recipe. I wanted to make the Merry Pumpkin Cake from Crockin’ for the Holidays for my family but didn’t know what size cooker to use!?
With the clean-eating craze going on and the right stuff included in this new book, you could have a best-seller on your hands!
Thanks for doing what you do girls!

Until I found your cookbook, my family would groan if I attempted to cook anything other than soup in my crockpot. My family will tell you that I have ruined many types of meat and gave a new definition to the description, “chewy/tough meat” when I tried to cook it in the crockpot. With your cookbook I have reformed them and we all thank you! That said, I agree with the other people who have requested nutritional information. My son has type 1 diabetes and it is such a help to already have the nutritional information available in the cookbooks.

I am trying to eat with low glutins–I know a lot of people who have Celiacs—-can you incorporate a glutin free section???

I have a family of 5 with one 8 yr. old who is allergic to cows milk, wheat, soy and peanuts. Maybe, you would be able to have an allergy free section with some wonderful recipes. Many people are struggling with allergies and I know that if they are a busy family, crockin is the way to go! Just a thought!

All the recipes you offer look yummy, but I am delighted that you are going to go with a healthier version, maybe lighter fare in your next book! I am weight conscious and all the creamy sauces do not make weight control easy for sure!

How about including some gluten free recipes? I hope many of them will be just because you are not using processed ingredients. I will be really interested in how you put fresh herbs and seasonings together! Thanks

Great idea! I love your first cookbook. I bought a few months ago and make at least 3-4 recipes a week. My husband and I work very long hours and do not want to spend our days off cooking for hours. I hope your new book with have the same colored pictures. Luv your ideas. Keep up the great work.

So excited about your new cookbook. I love your website and have also purchased a cookbook, but recently have been diagnosed with LPR, or silent reflux. Always looking for options that will help with my diet. I look forward to seeing what new recipes will be available, with Crockin’ Clean in 2013.

I try to do my cleaning spread over a few days, that way I’m not over whelmed with it all. Do the heavy stuff first then the easy stuff last.

Salt and pepper 4 pork chops (I use boneless but bone in will also work) place in the slow cooker. Mix Cream of Mushroom soup with a can of Rotel and pour over the pork chops and cook on low for 6 hrs. or high for 4 hrs. They are fall apart good. You can also use chicken breasts. Add steam veggies and enjoy.

I am doing the Fast Metabolism Diet. It is great, but recipes are few. If you could figure out some recipes for the 3 different phases it would be wonderful. It works!!

Very glad to hear this. Every single recipe I have looked at here has a can of this or a package of that. Does ANYONE cook from scratch anymore?

I think Jenna and Nicole have sold their sight. I see nothing here that looks like the original girls recipes. Their original recipes were more personable and down home style.

Thanks for doing a Crockin’ Clean cookbook! I love your first cookbook but will use this new one more since I watch closely what I eat. I can’t wait to buy it. It would be helpful for each recipe to show what size crockpot to use. I have a 4qt. pot and I hate when I realize (too late) that it’s too small for a recipe.
