This is by far the best slow cooker cook book! I show it to everyone who comes to my house and tell them its the best cookbook they will ever buy! The recipes are perfect for a stay at home mom! The pics are beautiful! My 80 yr old great aunt is on a tight budget and loves her crock pot-but can’t afford a book. I would love to win one for her as a surprise!!!

Yes I would love this book. I bought one for my daughter-in-love and would love to have one for myself. She loves it and I would love it too!

I love The Crockin’ Girls Slow Cookin’ Companion! My family loves the recipes and they are so easy to make. The best thing is that my dad will even eat what I’ve made so far! This is my “cherry snowball” type of daddy who will not stray far from his steak and ketchup. This book is on my mom’s Christmas list now. Would love to win it for her!

Tyra B.
This is an absolute top-notch cookbook. The pictures make my mouth water. I haven’t tried a recipe that our family didn’t like. I love that they are so easy and pleasing at the same time. I would love to have another to pass along to my bestie who has asked for several of the recipes from mine! :)

My husband and I have 5 kiddos from 6-16. 4 of them are boys and eat A Lot!! I stumbled across your page by chance and the few meals I have actually had a chance to make, everyone loved. I would love to get the book to make planning ahead for our weekly meals easier, but with 5 kids and summer daycare and activities we just don’t have the funding. For sure by the Fall we will purchase a book, unless a member of my family reads this and buys me one!!! :)

Rachel C.
I would love to win this book! I’m always trying recipes off the facebook page, and they are great! I’m a college student, so I love making stuff before school and then coming home and having a good meal and still have time to study and do homework! I could put this cookbook to good use!!

WOW what a great book and would even be more special if I won it..Yikes I need help with dinners I have been cooking the same old stuff for 20 years……and needless to say when we all sit down to dinner, and yes, my 25 and 21 year old adult children still sit down and eat dinner with us when they are home, well we could all use some spicing up!!! this book looks fantastic

Kacy S.
Oh gurls!!!! This book wouldn’t go unused in my kitchen. I’m a school teacher and it’s all about making good use of my time to have dinner ready for the family when I get home. I need new ideas, new recipes and can’t wait to soak my eyes in this book! *hands high* Pick me Pick me!~!!!! :D

With so many cookbooks out there for purchasing, it’s nice to have one that is full of tried and true recipes that are varied, fairly easy to recreate, tasty, and make your house smell like you have been working away all day when you’ve actually been working on everything else on the never ending to-do list! Having a hot meal cooking away in a crockpot and knowing that one of the tasty recipes will be ready when I arrive home is sometimes the highlight after a busy day! Thanks to these fabulous crockin’ recipes, my grocery lists and weekend shopping trips are much more organized and healthier, and the drive-thrus with the value menus are being much less frequented! Homemade, hot and ready chicken parmesan sure beats chicken nuggets and French fries, and the leftovers are the cherries on top!! Hats off to you two fellow Texas gals for putting together this fabulous cookbook, website, videos, and handy tips for all of us to enjoy!

Hi Crockin Girls. Well I cant judge your book. But I can judge some of the recipes that you have put on FB and or your site. You have saved me money and time which is what a lot of girls need. My family is on an extreme budget and could really use your cookbook. I hope to win it and hope to learn some new recipes along with some money saving tips. I think you girls rock!! Thanks for all you do.

Unless you have a back to school list for school supplies hold off until you get it. Chances are they will only need a pencil and paper the first few days and the kids will bring home a list within a few days of being back to sc.hool. Also hold off on new school clothes the weather will still be warm for a while and they aren’t gonna want to wear warm fall clothes when it is still in the 90’s. All the stores will have great sales from now until Christmas time for warmer clothes.

Back to school advice: Don’t overbuy and get a bunch of stuff that you won’t need. Keep it simple and just get the basics!

I buy enough pencils, notebooks, pens, during back to school sales to last the whole year, because you will never see them cheaper than now. I keep them in a big bucket and the kids can grab them whenever they need them.

Try to reuse school supplies from last year. Pencil boxes, rulers, and scissors often last for more than one year. You also can pair up with a friend and buy multi-packs of glue sticks and split them up. I’ll buy some extras of supplies my kids are likely to run out of mid-year to use as stocking stuffers.

    Back To School Advice:

We always start a new family devotional with the start of the new school year.We take turns reading them and the kids tell us how it helped them through out the day at supper time.It gets everyones day off to a great start and we have a little family time befor everyone is out the door. It may mean getting up a little earlier but it is worth it

I am a homeschooling mom of 5 and my kids are 13, 11, 8, 5, and 2. My kids are in dance, baseball, soccer, 4H, and church activities. I use my crock pot so much that my kids make jokes about it. There’s no point even putting it away after it’s washed! I will definitely be using it even more now that we’re starting school. I’ll be tutoring part time this year too so our days will definitely be busy! I’d love to win a cookbook! Thanks for all the great recipes on your website!I
