Crockin’ chat with Jenna

By

One of the most difficult transitions I have had to make since August 19, 2011- the day this all began, is that I am now a working mama!

I earned my degree in interdisciplinary Studies (a degree that allows me to teach Pre-K through 4th grade) in May 2008 and started teaching 4th grade that August. During my first year of teaching I found out I was pregnant with Spencer and he was due the next June. After he was born I went back to teaching. I was a working mama, and it was fairly easy to balance. I had a set schedule and knew what each day would hold for the most part. I taught the first year after Spencer was born and then decided I really wanted to stay home with him.

So I stayed home the next year (2010) and found out I was pregnant in August, and due to have Stella in May 2011! Miss Priss came along in May. I started sewing out of my home and called my new kids clothes “business” Junebug Couture, and just as I was adjusting to having 2 kiddos 2-years-old and under (and a new business), Crock Pot Girls started! This threw my world through a loop! I felt like I was in constant fight to keep my head above water!

Since Crockin’ Girls (formerly Crock Pot Girls) started I have had to make some major lifestyle adjustments. I am now a stay at home mom (my kids go to Kids Day Out 2 days a week, but other than that they are with me), a working mom, wife, coach’s wife, Crockin’ Girl and I still love to sew even though my “Junebug Couture” days are slim pickings!

Some days I don’t know which way is up, but this has been a great adventure to be a part of! Looking forward to what is next!  - Jenna
